CSO Solicitation No. CSO 2473 The CTDOT is seeking to engage one (1) consultant engineering firm to provide engineering design services related to pavement rehabilitation, reconstruction, and safety improvements on 1-84 in the city of Danbury. The purpose of this project is to rehabilitate the pavement to extend the service life of the roadway, upgrade roadside safety, and replace the superstructure of Bridge Nos. 01181 and 01182 (1-84 over Housatonic RR). The pavement improvements consist of mill and overlay and full depth reconstruction from the New York State Line (MP 0.00) to just west of Interchange 4 (MP 3.63). Guiderail and median barrier will be upgraded to current design standards. Replacement of the superstructures of Bridge Nos. 01181 and 01182 are proposed to address their poor conditions.
