Renovation of an educational facility in Danbury, Connecticut. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Work consists of all labor, tools, materials and equipment necessary for new work in the existing Auditorium including asbestos removal, removal and replacement of Auditorium seating, removal and replacement of existing flooring materials, select new ceiling construction, lighting and control replacement, painting including floor and ceiling areas and related work and materials as indicated in the documents. A bid bond in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid shall accompany each bid. A non-collusion statement for Prime Contractors and any addendum acknowledgment must also be submitted at the time of the bid. A performance, labor and materials bond in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the accepted bid will be required. This is an American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funded contract. The contractor must comply with the requirements as specified herein. The City of Danbury is an equal opportunity and affirmative action purchaser and bids from all vendors, including those from enterprises owned by minorities and women, are encouraged. The City of Danbury reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and to award the contract to the bidder deemed to be for its best interest.
