Furnish and Deliver Modular Block Retaining Wall at Two Locations: Wall delivery locations are as follows: Town Compost Center - 91 Sackett Point Road (access from Powdered Metal Drive) Town Hall Annex - 5 Linsley Street (access from Elm Street) BID BOND, CERTIFIED CHECK, OR CASHIER'S CHECK: Unless otherwise stated in the Invitation to Bid, each bid shall be accompanied by a bid bond issued by a surety company authorized to do business in Connecticut or by a cashier's check or certified check made payable to the Town of North Haven, Connecticut. The amount of the bid deposit shall be 10% of the total base bid unless otherwise specified. The successful bidder must supply a performance bond for the full amount of the estimated total bid. The performance bond shall be for the benefit of the Town of North Haven. The performance bond will be required as security by the successful bidder for faithful performance of its contract. COMPLETION OF WORK The above Scope of Work, shall be completed no later than ninety (90) days after the award of the Contract. Extension of work related to Bid Alternates or changes in the bid shall be agreed upon by the Town of North Haven and the successful Bidder. The Director of Administration/Procurement reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any defects in same, or to choose to make purchases other than strictly in accordance with price considerations, and/or to choose other than the lowest bidder, if it be deemed in the best interest of the Town of North Haven.
