LEAD PAINT REMOVAL, REPAIR OF SIDING AND PAINTING OF TOWN HALL ANNEX, located at 24 S. Main Street, New Salem, MA. The Town ofNew Salem, acting through the Selectboard, is receiving sealed bids and proposals for lead paint removal (if any), repair ofsiding, addition ofsidewall roof vents in the front andback ofthe building and painting of Town Hall Annex located at 24 S. Main Street, New Salem, MA. The project is funded by ARPA (American Rescue Plan Act) funds. The bid requires a 5% bid bond/deposit and awarded bidder must provide 50% Labor & Materials Payment Bond. This bid is subject to MA prevailing wage rates as per MGL c. 149, sec. 26-27f inclusive and Davis Bacon wage rates, whichever is higher. Qualified bidders who are Minority/Women, disadvantaged Owned Business Enterprises are encouraged to apply. The Town of New Salem is the awarding authority and reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids in total or in part as they may deem in the best public interest.
