The Project generally consists of Upgrades to Ashley/Hanover Solomon Creek Sewer Interceptor, including: the cleaning, televising, and lining of approximately 914 linear feet of an existing 39-inch and 27-inch sewer interceptor; cleaning and televising of approximately 9,300 feet of sewer interceptor ranging from 39-inch to 8-inch diameter; raising and repairing approximately 29 sewer manholes to grade; and spot repairs of damaged 27-inch and 24-inch sewer pipes in approximately 7 locations Questions Due Date: Oct 31st 2024, 4:00 PM EDT Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. The successful bidder will be required to provide a Performance Bond and a Labor and Material Payment Bond, each in an amount at least equal to the Contract Price. Contractors must also establish a 6.9% goal for female participation and a 0.6% goal for minority participation in the aggregate on-site construction work force for contracts in excess of $10,000 as per the notice of requirement for affirmation action as contained in the contract documents. The scope of work includes the area as indicated on the Drawings. The sequence of work and the actual quantities of the work items will be as directed by the Engineer. The Contractor shall provide a proposed sequence and schedule for consideration. Some or all of the work may be required to be performed outside of normal working hours. The Contractor shall perform work during these periods. There shall be no adjustment to the contract price for over time, holiday pay, premium pay or any other cost related to work hours. CCTV crews will coordinate with the manhole rehabilitation/repair crews. Contractor shall locate manholes and mark them out in the field and survey locate them. Cleaning and TV inspection may have to be conducted from either upstream or downstream manholes due to difficult access or other limiting conditions.
