Scope of Work Construction & Mechanic Shop Garage Door Replacement The Contractor shall provide labor & materials to complete the following: 1. Remove (5) 12’x10’1” and (1) 16’x10’1” doors and all associated hardware and weatherstripping. Demolished material to be properly disposed of, off site. 2. Supply and install (5) manual open 12’ x 10’ 1”, brown in color (Match Color as closely as possible to existing, Owner to approve) insulated sectional doors. o Standard lift, minimum of 24-gauge steel exterior, brown in color. o 14ga hinges and 16ga 2” track (15-degree radius) with continuous jamb angle. o 18-gauge center stile and ends. o Horizontal track to be reinforced with 13-gauge angle according to size and weight. o Install track stop spring bumpers on all manual open doors. o Install vinyl weather strip on all doors. o Install centered locking hardware with dual locking bars. o The Garage Doors shall be sandwich insulated to a R- value* no less than r14 3. Supply and install (1) trolley operated 16’ x 10’ 1”, with windows, Minimum of 25-gauge steel exterior, brown in color (Match Color as closely as possible to existing, Owner to approve). o Minimum of 24-gauge steel exterior, brown in color. o Install approved electric opener with push button, keypad, and remote function. (see section below) o 14ga hinges and 14ga 2” track with continuous jamb angle. o 18-gauge center stile and ends. o Case hardened steel tire rollers, 10 ball bearing, on long solid shaft. o Horizontal track to be reinforced with 13-gauge angle according to size and weight. o Install track stop spring bumpers on all manual open doors. o Install vinyl weather strip on all doors. o Install centered locking hardware with dual locking bars. o The Garage Doors shall be sandwich insulated to a R- value* no less than r14. 4. Supply and install (1) Liftmaster MT Series Logic Trolley garage door operator or approved equivalent. o The operator to be a minimum of ½ HP, 115V single-phase motor with instant reverse, capacitor start and overload protection. o Supply and install (1) 3-button station, for open/close/stop functions. o Provide at least (4) dip-switch remote transmitters.
