The bid price must include all costs including material and labor for the project. Errors in unit prices or extension of unit prices will be the responsibility of the bidder. Bid prices must remain firm through the bidding process. Generally, the Greater Johnstown Career and Technology Center/AVTS bids are awarded on itemby-item selection rather than by total amount, however due to the nature of the project, the bid will be awarded on an overall price basis Greater Johnstown Career and Technology Center Water Line Replacement Bid Specifications Project Description Replacing approximately 220 ft of 6 in. water main. The line will begin at the valve along the paved road in the rear of the building and extend up the bank and under the hoop barn to the foundation where the line enters the building. The foundation will be core drilled to allow entry and the line connected to the existing plumbing at the meter. The line will be pressure tested and disinfected before being put in service. We will install a tracing cable to the line and bed the pipe in 2B stone. The trench will be backfilled using the existing spoil with all excess spoil be hauled off site. Site restoration will include topsoil, seed, and mulch. The project will be conducted as per all local codes and regulations
