INSPECTION, TESTING, ROUTINE MAITENANCE OF FIRE SPRINKLERS, STANDPIPE, PUMPS, HYDRANTS AND SUPPRESSION SYSTEMS AT HUDSON COUNTY FACILITIES (SET-ASIDE BID) Please note that this is designated as a "Set-Aside Contract" and the County intends to award this bid pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40A:11-41, et. Seq. & Ordinance No. 243-4-2016, a copy of which is available online. The following groups checked below are able to bid on this project: X Qualified Women's Business Enterprise X Qualified Minority Business Enterprise X Qualified Small Business Enterprise X Qualified Veteran Business Enterprise Any bids received by a person or entity not indicted above will be rejected by the County of Hudson as not being responsive to the bid. Bids shall be submitted on the forms provided and shall be in accordance with the specifications contained in the General Conditions and Instructions to Bidders and other bidding documents. Questions are to be submitted in writing via EMAIL no later than October 16, 2024 by 4:00 p.m. to Christine Moro, Purchasing Agent at QUESTIONS.PURCHASING@HCNJ.US . No further questions will be accepted after this time. Any bid addenda (which includes the answers to all questions) will be issued on the County Purchasing website and processed according to N.J.S.A. 40A:11-23(c)(1) by 3:00p.m. on October 18, 2024. All interested bidders should check the website from now through the bid opening. It is the sole responsibility of the respondent to be knowledgeable of all addenda related to this procurement. Failure to include the Acknowledgement if an addenda is issued will be cause for the bid to automatically be deemed non-responsive. Bids may be submitted by hand delivery or courier service, including, but not limited to, UPS, Federal Express, DHL or U.S. Express Mail. The bids must arrive prior to the scheduled bid opening time/deadline. VENDOR BEARS FULL RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE TIMELY DELIVERY OF YOUR BID AT THE BID OPENING TIME. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27 et seq. and all other requirements set forth in the General Conditions and Instructions to Bidders. Bidders are required to use the statement forms contained in the General Conditions and Instructions to Bidders. The County of Hudson reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informalities or to accept a bid which, in its judgment, best serves the interest of the County as provided by law. No bids may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after the date and time set for the opening of the bids.
