Reference Number 0000365269 Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) Batteries Replacement Any questions concerning the conditions or specifications shall be directed to the designated contact person. Addenda items will be posted on the township website, on the Purchasing Division page under Requests for Bids, Proposals and Qualifications. It is the bidder's responsibility to check and verify that addenda have been issued. Failure to acknowledge addenda may result in the offer not being considered. The project is at our Administration Building and Police station at 1150 S Canton Center RD, Canton MI 48188 Work can commence immediately once the timeline is approved by the Project & Facilities Service Manager. Delivering and installing new replacement Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) Batteries for the Canton Township Administration Building. o Current Model: Admin: Eaton 93PM 208V-20-60 (40 batteries) Police: Eaton 9355 UPS (216 batteries) o Like to look at option to be done in phases for PD. o One phase a year over 5 years o Removal and Replacement of new batteries. o All equipment and rentals must be included in your bid/proposal. o Contractor to be responsible for all demolition and disposal costs. All existing batteries will be removed from the UPS systems and disposed of properly. o Contractor to be responsible for providing all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to install new Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) Batteries. o Contractor is responsible for verifying battery part numbers. o Contractor must guarantee no disruption to building system. If the work performed is deemed to be disruptive, Contractor must agree work to be performed after normal business hours at a time of Township choosing. o Contractor to provide estimate of time to complete work. o All batteries will be newly manufactured and tested upon installation. o The installer must perform testing of the UPS after installation is completed. o The installer must run self-diagnostics on the UPS unit and check individual batteries Any questions contact Tom Gaffka at Tom.Gaffka@cantonmi.gov Tom Gaffka, Project & Facilities Service Manager, Tom.Gaffka@cantonmi.gov
