2025 Wastewater Treatment Chemicals The City of Marysville has issued an Invitation to bid on the following water treatment chemicals: Polymer, Polyaluminum Chloride and Propane. The bid consists of suppling and delivering the chemicals to the City of Marysville Water Reclamation Plant at 12901 Beecher Gamble Road for operations during the 2025 calendar year. The work consists of providing the following chemicals (and estimated quantities) for the wastewater treatment plant operations in the 2025 calendar year: Chemical (Estimated Quantity) Polymer (80,000 pounds) Polyaluminum Chloride (73,000 gallons) Propane (75,000 gallons) However, it is understood that the City is not obligated to contract for any minimum amount of product during the period of this contract. Bidders shall comply with all statutory requirements in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. The City reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, in whole or in part, to waive any informality in any or all bids, to accept the bid or part it deems most favorable to the City after the Bids have been examined and checked, and subject to the approval of the City Manager. No Bids shall be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after being publicly opened and read. Question Deadline 11/01/2024 at 4:00 PM ET No oral interpretations of the meaning of the plans, specifications or other pre-bid documents will be made to any Bidder. Every request for such interpretation should be addressed via electronically, and to be given consideration, must be received at least seven (7) calendar days prior the date for opening of bids. Any and all such interpretations and any supplemental instruction shall be in the form of written addenda to the specifications, which if issued, will be uploaded electronically. All questions shall be asked via electronically. The City has adopted the digital bidding process in an effort to make the bidding process more efficient and cost effective for both the contractor and the City.
