**As of December 05, 2024, This project has been awarded to JBrennon Construction , with the awarded amount of $4,756,003.28** The Project consists of furnishing all labor, materials, tools, equipment and incidentals necessary for construction of a potable water booster pumping station at 10 Busch Drive in Cartersville, Georgia, including: a precast concrete metering vault, precast concrete double check valve vault, a masonry pump station building, three 200hp horizontal split case pumps with VFD's, three 8-inch pump control valves, a 16-inch magnetic flow meter in precast concrete vault, a 5 ton travelling bridge crane, all with associated piping, fittings, electrical and controls, and other appurtenances, including, but not limited to site grading, erosion control, asphalt paving, site fencing, grassing and landscaping, testing, flushing, disinfection, start-up, and all related work for a complete and operational facility. All Work must conform to the requirements of the Georgia EPD General Permit GAR 100002. Funding for the Project will be provided by a Georgia Environmental Finance Authority (GEFA) Georgia Fund loan and an American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) grant. Payment for the Work will be made on the basis of Contractor's periodic Applications-for-Payment processed by the Engineer. Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Bond, or other security authorized by law, in an amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the total base bid. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond, each in the amount of 100% of the Contract Price. The right is reserved by the Owner to delay the award of the Contract for a period not to exceed sixty (60) days from the date of opening of the bids, during which time the bids shall remain open and not subject to withdrawal. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any and all technicalities or informalities. If an award is made, the award will be made to the responsible and responsive Bidder whose Bid is lowest for the Work.
