Site work for a road / highway in Montesano, Washington. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.

The work to be performed under this contract consists of guardrail repairs at seven (7) locations within the County. Currently there are guardrail repairs or replacement along East Satsop Road, Elma McCleary Road, Blue Slough Road, Wishkah Road, South Shore Road and Old State 9 Road. There is approximately 1100LF of raising existing guardrail, 100LF of removing and replacing guardrail, 337.5LF of removing and resetting guardrail, 5EA non-flared terminals (2 new and 3 replacing existing), 725FT of guardrail removal, 425LF ofType 31 guardrail 8ft posts, and 212.5LF of type 31 guardrail. This contract is for the labor, equipment and materials necessary for installation of guardrail, post and end treatments according the WSDOT 2024 standard specifications and ensuring proper traffic control is in place. All bid proposals shall be accompanied by a bid proposal deposit in cash, certified check, cashier's check, or surety bond in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total bid proposal made payable to Grays Harbor County Treasurer. Should the successful bidder fail to enter into such contract and furnish satisfactory performance bond within the time stated in the specifications, the bid proposal deposit sha ll be forfeited to Grays Harbor County.
