Statutes, the Florida Governmental Utility Authority, a legal entity and public body created by interlocal agreement pursuant to section 163.01, Florida Statutes, ("FGUA"), is seeking the services of a qualified engineering firm for preliminary and final engineering design, bidding and consultant services during construction for the Lehigh Acres Septic to Sewer Project. The FGUA has pursued and received partial grant funding for the Septic to Sewer Project in Lehigh Acres. This project has been previously identified in FGUA planning documents and the 2023 Lee County Countywide Wastewater Management Plan. The FGUA reserves the right to reject all SOQs, waive any informalities and to request additional information from the applicant if necessary. The evaluation of all SOQs and awarding of a contract will be done in accordance with the CCNA. Approval to negotiate an Engineering Services Agreement with the top ranked Proposer, is anticipated to occur at the December 19, 2024 Board Meeting.
