Sunnyhill Retaining Wall Project The major division of work contemplated under this proposal is as follows: The scope of the project is to reconstruct the area of the failed retaining wall supporting Sunnyhill Road. The proposed structure will be moved approximately twenty feet (20) from the original location to the south. The reason to do this is to be able to construct a shorter wall approximately three feet (3) high and grade from Sunnyhill Road to the top of the new structure at a worst case 2:1. The guard rail along Sunnyhill Road will be replaced along with patching of Sunnyhill Road and Miners Avenue as needed. The proposed wall height is below the four-foot requirement for engineer design. The City Building Official will ensure proper construction methods are followed based on local and state requirements. Payment will be issued at completion of the project from the City of Lead from a detailed invoice that follows the breakout description of this proposal. All proposals will be made on the forms furnished by the Owner.
