Location: North Manor, 5 Connellsville Ave, Riverview 315 N. Arch St., Connellsville, PA 15425 Scope of Work: Work will include bituminous paving and other improvements within parking areas at North Manor and Riverview Apartments in Connellsville, PA. The contract scope will include bituminous milling and overlay areas, full depth asphalt demolition and replacement areas, pavement restriping, thermoplastic arrows, new car stops and all other work items listed or implied by the bid documents. The successful bidder will be required to furnish and pay for a satisfactory Performance and Payment Bond. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid bond, certified check, or bank cashier's check payable to the Connellsville Housing Authority in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid amount. The Connellsville Housing Authority solicits and encourages Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) participation. MBE's will be afforded full consideration of their responses and will not be subjected to discrimination. Bidders will be required to comply with the Authority's MBE Program Goal requirements where applicable. Doc note: If the bidding documents issued as hard copy are mailed there is an additional $35.00 non-refundable handling. Additional full sets may be purchased by a check in the same amount, or portions of sets may be purchased at a cost of $3.00 per drawing sheet and $0.25 per specification sheet. Price of these plans is non-refundable. The Connellsville Housing Authority reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities in bidding. No bid shall be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days subsequent to the opening without the consent of the Authority.
