Site work for a water / sewer project in Oakland, Maryland. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

The Board of County Commissioners of Garrett County, Maryland will accept sealed bids for the construction of a one (1) million-gallon precast, post-tensioned concrete circular water storage tank as specified to serve the Deep Creek Lake Water System and to be located on Marsh Hill (Wisp Mountain) in McHenry, Maryland. The work under this contract includes, but is not necessarily limited to, the following: sitework; erosion and sediment control; stormwater management; 900 linear feet or 12-inch and 100 linear feet of 6-inch waterline; tank work including foundation system, roof, mixing system, drain, access hatch and ladder and disinfection; and miscellaneous appurtenances, including valves and fire hydrants. A virtual Pre-Bid Meeting will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, November 14, 2024. Instructions for attending the pre-bid meeting are included with the project specifications. Substantial Completion is 240 calendar days and the number of days to achieve readiness for final payment is 270 calendar days. The deadline for questions is 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 21, 2024. Additional questions regarding the project shall be emailed to purchasing@garrettcountymd.gov. Questions asked after this time will not be answered. The contract duration for this project is 270 calendar days
