Completed plans call for the demolition of a bridge / tunnel; for the construction of a bridge / tunnel; for site work for a bridge / tunnel; for paving for a bridge / tunnel; road / highway; road / highway; and water / sewer project.
This project includes the reconstruction of 1,720 feet of Linger Longer Road in Quilcene, WA. The roadway reconstruction includes replacing a portion of the existing roadway with a 1,040-foot-long precast concrete bridge, removing an equal amount of the existing Linger Longer Road, and con- structing new stormwater treatment facilities on both ends of the bridge. It also includes a temporary bridge and road improvements at the Rodgers Street crossing over the Big Quilcene River Minority and Women's Business Enterprises (MWBE) are encouraged to participate in the bidding as prime contractors, subcontractors, or suppliers.
