The Department of Land and Natural Resources Interim General Condition, dated October 1994, as amended, and the General Conditions AG008, latest revision shall be made part of the specifications. The project is located at Waimea/Kokee, Kauai, Hawaii. The work shall generally consist of repairs to various structures and facilities at Waimea Canyon State Park and Kokee State Park, as quantified on the attached proposal and scope of work. Scope of work shall include, but not limited to comfort station and pavilions repairs, fence repairs and other incidental work. Base Bid: repair all structures and/or facilities identified in the Proposal, minus fence work. Additive Alternate #1: Repair existing fencing as identified in the Proposal To be eligible to submit a bid, the Bidder must possess a valid State of Hawaii Contractors license classification General B. A voluntary pre-bid conference and site visit will be held at the project site, Waimea Canyon Lookout on November 1, 2024 at 10 am. Submission of any Requests for Information shall be submitted through the Hawaii State e-Procurement (HIePRO) system by 4:00 pm on November 6, 2024. The estimated cost of construction is $245,000.00. The award of the contract, if it be awarded, will be subject to the availability of funds. Since the estimated value of the cost of construction is less than $250,000, the apprenticeship agreement preference pursuant to Hawaii Revised Statutes 103-55.6 (ACT 17, SLH 2009) shall not apply.
