Site work for a water / sewer project in Ware Shoals, South Carolina. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The installation of a new bar screen, screenings compactor, slide gates, sludge distributor, concrete paving, and associated work tasks for a complete and proper installation. Funding for the project shall be provided via a loan from the SC State Revolving Fund (SRF), and local match funding provided by the Town of Ware Shoals. SRF requirements for American Iron and Steel (AIS), Debarment Certification, and Davis-Bacon Wage Rates will apply. Construction Cost Range: $1,000,000 Project Location: Ware Shoals, SC The work includes, but is not necessarily limited to, the following: 1. Confirming existing site conditions, 2. Demolition of existing bar screen, slide gates, and other equipment in the existing headworks structure as shown on the project plans, 3. Grading, excavation, and backfill/compaction, 4. Improvements/upgrades to the existing headworks structure, 5. Installation of new bar screen and screenings washer compactor, 6. Installation of new slide gates, 7. Installation of new sludge distributor, 8. Concrete Paving, 9. Piping, valves, and other required appurtenances, 10. Electrical, 11. Installation and maintenance, and removal of erosion control facilities, 12. Site restoration activities, 13. Other associated appurtenances for a complete and proper installation.
