Renovation of a military facility in Fairfield, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a military facility.
The Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, materials, permits and fees necessary to perform HVAC Roof Units Replacement - Fairfield Armory located at Fairfield Armory, 510 Parker Road, Fairfield, CA 94535. Work to include: The Contractor will provide all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to replace existing HVAC units. All work shall be in accordance with the terms, conditions, and requirements of this Invitation for Bid (IFB) A BID BOND, in the amount of at least 10% of the bid amount must be submitted by the contractor with the Proposal Form if the contract exceeds $25,000.00 utilizing a bond form provided by the Surety A PAYMENT BOND, Standard Form 807, in the amount of 100% of the contract amount must be submitted by the successful bidder at the time signed contracts are returned to the Military Department if the contract exceeds $25,000.00. B. A PERFORMANCE BOND, in the amount of 100% of the contract amount must be submitted by the successful bidder at the time signed contracts are returned to the Military Department if the contract exceeds $10,000.00 and progress payments will be made Question Deadline 11/13/2024 at 4:00 PM PT All questions regarding this IFB MUST be submitted to Robert Hawkins, at Robert.Hawkins@cmd Furnish and install all materials and labor required to provide the scope defined below at the Fairfield Readiness Center located in Fairfield, California as described herein in these specifications. Replace (3) Train rooftop gas/electric packaged AC units with AHUs 6,7&10 (3) new rooftop gas/electric packaged AC units Trane model YHC047E4RLA**K0E*000,4-ton 17 SEER, 1600 CFM @ 0.700 ESP,460/60/3, 47.5 MBH Gross cooling and 49 MBH Net Heating Capacity, attach new curb adapter for new units to existing Curb, reuse roof penetrations, modify duct work as needed to transition from new units to exiting ducts. Replace (1) Train rooftop gas/electric 3 Ton Sigle Phase packaged AC unit AHU3 with (1) new rooftop gas/electric packaged AC units Trane model 4YCZ6048C1115A,4-ton 16 SEER, 1250 CFM @ 0.700 ESP,208-230/60/1, 48.0 MBH Gross cooling and 92, 115 MBH first and second stages input Heating Capacity, attach new curb adapter for new units to existing Curb, reuse roof penetrations, modify duct work as needed to transition from new units to exiting ducts. Replace (1) Train rooftop gas/electric packaged AC unit AHU8 with (1) new rooftop gas/electric packaged AC units Trane model YHC047E4RLA**K0E*000,4-ton 17 SEER, 1250 CFM @ 0.700 ESP, 460/60/3, 48.0 Gross cooling and 49 MBH Net Heating Capacity, attach new curb adapter for new unit to existing Curb, reuse roof penetrations, modify duct work as needed to transition from new units to exiting ducts. Replace (2) Train rooftop gas/electric packaged AC units AHU4&9 with (2) new rooftop gas/electric packaged AC units Trane model YHC092F4RLA**K0E*000,7.5-ton 14.5 SEER, 2500 CFM @ 0.700 ESP, 460/60/3, 86.5 Gross cooling and 96 MBH Net Heating Capacity, attach new curb adapter for new unit to existing Curb, reuse roof penetrations, modify duct work as needed to transition from new units to exiting ducts. Replace (3) Trane rooftop gas Furnace heating only packaged units ,with (3) new rooftop gas Furnace heating only packaged units Trane model GRAAXXX, 200MBH input heating capacity (F-1)3420 CFM @ 1.0 ESP, and (F-3&4) 2525 CFM @ 0.7 ESP 460/60/3, provide new curbs or curb adapters, Reuse existing roof support, reuse roof penetrations, modify duct work as needed to transition from new unit to exiting ducts. 1.7 Remove existing thermostats, Existing TCP (Temperature Control Panels) and existing timers if any, install new thermostat, install new thermostat with Co2 sensors in all classrooms and conference rooms, install new standalone controls. 1.8 Clean all existing ductworks. Replace all flex duct at new diffuser/grille locations. 1.9 Air balance all new units after installing all new HVAC equipment. 1.10 Replace all diffuser/grilles/registers with new. Replace any ceiling tiles broken or damaged during construction with new. Match existing conditions. 1.11 Install New copper condensate pipe, new trap, and rubber sleepers. Route condensate pipes to the nearest roof drain or connect to existing drain line drops. 1.12 Install new gas lines and flexs, install new shutoff valves and dirt legs. 1.13 Units to include manufacturer combination Economizer/Barometric exhaust at each Packaged heating and cooling Units. Micromelt or Equal. 1.14 Install HVAC Duct smoke detector 24v for all units. to shut down unit upon detection of smoke 1.15 Replace exciting electrical disconnect switch at each unit. Ratings to match existing. 1.16 Field verify to ensure all existing electrical Devices such as main feeder circuit breaker, wires, conduits, J boxes, grounding and all other associated electrical devices are suitable for the new Packaged HVAC Units, replace any electrical devices, components as required. 1.17 Patch and repair roofing, as necessary. 1.18 Any materials that are suitable for recycling shall be recycled. 1.19 Accomplish all work in accordance with the drawings and specifications contained herein. 1.20 Accomplish all work in accordance with California Building Codes (2022 Editions). 1.21 Perform the above-mentioned work at the Fairfield Readiness Center 510 Parker Road, Fairfield, California, 94535.
