As of January 7, 2025, the project was awarded to Martin Laviero Contractor Inc., with an awarded amount of $177,803.75. The City of Bristol is seeking bids for installation of sidewalks within Rockwell Park to provide connectivity to existing workout stations. The City reserves the right to waive any informalities in the bid, to reject any or all bids, and to accept the bid that in its judgment is in its best interest. Funding for this project is being provided by American Rescue Plan Act ("ARPA") Funds. As a result of the funding source, the selected vendor must have an active registration with the System for Award Management ("SAM") pursuant to 2 CFR Part 25, and must agree to federal provisions relevant to such funding. Accompanied by a Bid Security in the amount of 5 % of the bidders base bid amount, in the form of a Bid Bond made payable to the City of Bristol. The awarded contractor will be required to secure a Performance Bond in the amount of 100% of the contract award, provided by a surety licensed to do business in the State of Connecticut. The contractor will take affirmative action to ensure that applicants are employed, and that employees are treated during employment, without regard to their race, color, religion, gender, or national origin.
