Site work and paving for a civil project in Sewalls Point, Florida. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.

The Town is Proposing the Replacement of the Existing Water Mains in the South Sewalls Point Phase 2 Area (Station 37+19 Driveway/palm Rd./simara St. Islands/ Oakwood Dr.) and the Installation of New Low Pressure Sewer Mains (Lpfms) in South Sewalls Pointroad Phases 1-2, Simara Street & High Point Areas. These Improvements Will Include New Water Mains, New Water Services, Tie-ins Toexisting Water Mains, New Lpfms, New Lpfm Services and All Fittings and Appurtenances Needed to Complete the Project. Theseimprovements Are Being Performed Ahead of the Proposed South Sewalls Point Phase 2 Roadway/drainage Improvements. Theroadway/drainage Improvement Design is Being Included as Reference to Ensure Utilities Are Being Constructed to Avoid Conflicts Withthe Future Improvements. It is Expected That This Work Will Be Completed Utilizing Directional Drilling to Avoid Significant Restoration Ofroadway/landscape Areas. The Resulting Contract Shall Be Awarded to the Lowest, Responsive and Responsible Bidder Whose Total Base Bid Includes the Requirementsand Criteria Set Forth in This Itb and Whose Award Will Be in the Best Interest of and Most Advantageous to the Town of Sewalls Point,taking Into Consideration; Base Bid Amount, the Financial Responsibility of the Bidder, Quality of Materials, Personnel and Equipment Resources, Proven Skill and Experience, Abilities to Timely Perform the Contract, Previous Satisfactory Performance and Such Otherabilities of the Bidder That the Town, in Its Sole Discretion, Determines Will Enable It to Perform Effectively and Efficiently the Contractbeing Bid Upon. Bids Must Be Accompanied by a Bid Bond/security in the Amount of Ten Percent (10%) of the Bid and Must Accompany Each Bid In accord With the Instructions to Bidders. The Successful Bidder, Who is Awarded the Contract, Will Be Required to Furnish a 100%construction Payment and Performance Bond Meeting the Requirements of Section 255.05 Florida Statutes. No Bidder May Withdraw His or Her Bid for a Period of One Hundred Twenty (120) Days After Submission by the Date Set for the Openingthereof. The Town, in Its Sole Discretion, Reserves the Right to Waive All Minor Technicalities or Irregularities, to Reject Any or All Bids or Any Partof a Bid, to Award to a Single Bidder or to Divide the Award Between Bidders, and to Re-solicit This Bid or Any Part of This Bid. The Townfurther Reserves the Right, in Its Sole Discretion, to Award a Contract to the Bidder (or Bidders) Who(Se) Bid Best Serves the Interests of the Town.
