Submit bids according to the Instructions to Bidders. * Any individual or vendor that can comply with certain conditions and specifications may submit bids. * Project Identification: Central Ada Fire Station. * Project Location: 201 South Broadway Avenue; Ada, Oklahoma 74820. Project Description: Project consists of Selective demolition and construction for adaptive reuse of an existing fire station for use as offices, meeting spaces, and support areas and other Work indicated in the Contract Documents.. Submit bids in a sealed envelope clearly marked "SEALED BID" and bear the bid number and bidder's name. Bids improperly marked, submitted, and/or received after the bid opening may be rejected unless lateness is due to other than the bidder's fault, such as mail or delivery errors. FAX bids are not acceptable. * Bid proceedings are open to the public. * Owner will receive sealed lump sum bids until the bid time and date at the location given below. The City of Ada reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids and to waive informalities and irregularities. BID SECURITY * Bid security shall be submitted with each bid in the amount of 5 percent of the bid amount, in the form of a bond, letter of credit, or cashier's check. No bids may be withdrawn for a period of 60 days after opening of bids.. TIME OF COMPLETION AND LIQUIDATED DAMAGES A. Successful bidder shall begin the Work on receipt of the Notice to Proceed and shall complete the Work within the Contract Time. 1.7 BIDDER'S QUALIFICATIONS A.Bidders must be properly licensed under the laws governing their respective trades and be able to obtain insurance and bonds required for the Work. A Performance Bond, a Maintenance Bond, and Insurance in a form acceptable to Owner will be required of the successful Bidder.
