The Chickasaw Nation Construction Services Division is now accepting RFQ submissions for Architectural and Engineering Services on the following project: Anompa Ichokka-Chickasaw Language Revitalization Located in Ada, OK, south of the Chickasaw Nation Medical Center on a currently unused parcel of land. The proposed project is approximately 27,378 sf, located south of the Chickasaw Nation Medical Center on a currently unused parcel of land. The facility spaces will include an expansive and comfortable lounge area for Native speakers, office and training spaces, reading room, an expansive lobby, kitchen, whisper room / studio for capturing Native speaker narratives and conversations, as well as a dining area for Native speaker and public events. The site amenities will include an honor plaza, concrete parking lot, site lighting and landscaping. The exterior façade will consist of materials consistent with the Medical Center Campus; natural stone, metal panels, and EIFS have been utilized. The Consultant will provide basic architectural and engineering services that includes assessment of utility availability, and review of the conceptual floor and site design provided by owner, topographical survey, and a cost estimate. Successful completion of the schematic design may warrant amending and extending the contract for additional services including all architectural design, interior design, renderings, geotechnical, structural, mechanical, electrical, civil, cost estimating, and oversight and coordination of work through construction. The design must meet or exceed the 2018 ICC Building Code. Consultants interested in working on Chickasaw Nation projects shall be required to complete a vendor application outlining the Chickasaw Nation's sovereign status. This application is available upon request. The contents of the submittal may be used in a legal contract or agreement. Consultants should be aware that methods and procedures proposed could become contractual obligations. The successful firm will be required to sign an agreement including the Chickasaw Nation's standard terms, including a requirement to carry and maintain a minimum of $2,000,000 professional liability insurance coverage.
