The scope of work, located along Interstate Route H-1 in Honolulu, Oahu, Hawaii between the Kapiolani Boulevard Interchange and Ainakoa Avenue, consists of upgrading concrete walls, barriers and end posts; strengthening, replacing or installing guardrails and end treatments; installing surface treatments; installing signs and sign structures; upgrading bridge railings; installing drilled shafts; and removing and replacing light poles and electrical systems. Work includes retrofitting, cleaning, demolition, grading, erosion controls, installation of PCC pavement, AC pavement, curbs, gutters, guardrails, concrete walls, barriers, CRM walls, erosion controls, bridge abutments and superstructures, bridge piers, and electrical systems. The estimated cost of construction is between $22,000,000 and $25,000,000.
