The County of Santa Clara (the "County") is requesting quotations from vendors for the provision and transport of Landscape Materials and Aggregates for the County's Parks and Recreation Department (Parks) as specified in this Invitation to Bids (ITB). Contractor shall provide for the Landscape Materials and Aggregates (collectively "Products") including the Transport thereof, for the County of Santa Clara's Parks and Recreation Department in accordance with the terms and conditions as specified in this Invitation to Bids (ITB). The contract award ("Agreement") will be used by the ordering agencies and departments to generate purchase orders based on the pricing, terms, and conditions of the Agreement. County does not guarantee, whether implied or in writing, to purchase any estimated amounts based on past usage, annual dollar volume, or quantity. No minimum order shall be imposed by the Contractor on the County under this Agreement. The quantities indicated are estimates and based on County's past annual spend and usage. The County, however, does not and cannot guarantee the quantity and dollar volume to be ordered. Where a contract or purchase order is awarded, the required products and/or services are to be provided on an as-needed basis or a pre- determined schedule. This solicitation may lead to multiple awards. There are five (5) Materials Lots and one (1) Transport Modes Lot. Interested parties must bid on Transport Modes Lot AND at least one (1) Materials Lot. Pricing must be provided for all items in a bid Lot. All orders are shipped FOB Destination, Freight Prepaid and Added. Bid Prices should NOT include sales tax and other government-imposed fees as the County will calculate these at the time of the award. Contract duration: 3 years Contract renewal: 2 annual renewals The County may award a contract to a Bidder at any time within 90 days after the ITB closing date and time. The County reserves the right to do any of the following at any time if it is in the best interest of the County: To reject any and all bids. Question Deadline 11/08/2024 at 3:00 PM PT Bidder shall post questions related to the ITB within Periscope Holdings prior to the closing of the ITB. The County will not respond to any other method of questions (email, phone, etc.) while the ITB is still open. If a Bidder has a question after the closing of the ITB, Bidder is required to send an email to the Point of Contact for this ITB.
