Bids for the provision of exterior of exterior improvements of the Sheboygan County Law Enforcement Center at 525 North 6th Street, Sheboygan WI 53081. Requirements include sealing / painting of second story window frames, pressure cleaning of the entire building exterior and replacement of selected vertical/horizontal expansion joint sealants on the entire structure. The project schedule is Spring/Summer, 2025 This project is being funded through ARPA-SLFRF (The American Rescue Plan Act-State and Local Fiscal Recovery Fund). Prevailing Wage Rates are not required for this project. Bid Security in the form of a Bid Bond, in an amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the total bid amount amount shall accompany the bids. In addition, the awarded contractor shall, within ten days of receipt of the notice of award, provides the County with performance and payment bond in the amount of one- hundred percent of the total bid amount. Attention of bidders is also called to the fact that the successful bidder must insure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of race, color, sex, religion or national origin. Federal requirements for equal opportunity (Executive Order 11246, Segregated Facilities section 3 and section 109 and the conditions of employment and wage rates to be paid under the contract. All proposals received become the property of Sheboygan County and must remain in effect not less than sixty (60) days beyond the proposal submission deadline. The Work includes pressure washing of all areas of the Law Enforcement Center Facility. Includes all elevations grade to roof line, Communications Addition (to the south of the main structure), Stair Tower / Connecting Walls (to the north or main structure), Mechanical Penthouse. 2. Replacement of horizontal and vertical wall joint sealants between precast wall sections on all areas except the Mechanical Penthouse exterior walls. 3. Replacement of window sealants at all window locations including panes, frames and where frames meet pre-cast masonry walls. 4. Painting of all window and door frames. 5. Removal and replacement of trim metal on stair tower and application of polyurethane traffic membrane to horizontal concrete landing. 6. Prep (rust removal) of door frames and painting with rust prohibitive paint. 7. Miscellaneous masonry repairs near stair tower.
