Site work for a service station / car wash facility in Hillsboro, Oregon. Completed plans call for site work for a service station / car wash facility.
Washington County Facilities, Parks, and Fleet Management is soliciting bids for provision and installation of new ChargePoint electric vehicle charging stations. The County already has ChargePoint stations and does not want any other brand or type so no substitutions will be entertained. Respondents must be able procure the units from ChargePoint, install the units, and provide any necessary warranty work. Contractor will also be requred to assist the with completing and submitting the necessary paperwork to receive availlable grants or funds from Oregon Department of Transportation (ODOT), Portland General Electric (PGE), or other sources. Contractor must be approved to buy directly from ChargePoint, County current chargers. Last Date to Submit Questions:November 11, 2024, 2:00pm The estimated expense for this contract will be 175000. Bids must contain: A statement as to whether the bidder is a resident bidder, as defined in ORS 279A.120(1)(b). Confirmation that bidder will comply with the statement in the bid document regarding compliance with the provisions of ORS 279C.800 to 279C.870 or 40 U.S.C. 3141 et seq. "Workers on Public Works to be Paid Not Less Than Prevailing Rate of Wage". A bid bond, certified check, or cashier's check in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the maximum amount allowable under the contract on the County's Bid Guaranty Form may be required. The County may reject any bid not in compliance with all prescribed public bidding procedures and requirements, and may reject for good cause any or all bids upon a finding of the County it is in the public interest to do so. Washington County reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any and all informalities in the best interest of the County. Bidders are solely responsible for ensuring receipt of their bid by the Procurement Division. All bidders must be registered with the Oregon Construction Contractors Board prior to submitting bids. Failure to be registered will be sufficient cause to reject a bid as "non- responsive." Licensing per ORS 468A.720 (working with asbestos) is not required for this project. The County does not intend to pre-qualify any bidders for this project. All bids submitted for this project will be considered provided that they meet the criteria set forth in the bid documents with respect to submission in a timely manner, bonding, and all other applicable requirements. However, all bidders will be checked against the Bureau of Labor and Industries and the Construction Contractor's Board list of contractors ineligible to receive public works contracts. The County issues these standards to: 1. Establish building material requirements and selection. 2. Promote the successful use and control of project specifications and related documentation for Washington County owned buildings. 3. Establish minimum requirements for consistent format, professional appearance, and data interchangeability among specification files and other building documents. 4. Create accurate, accessible, and current building and project documentation. 5. Expedite project delivery and reduce development cost. Provide and install six (6) new 60 amp breakers from two existing panels. B. Provide trenching and boring as required for the six (6) dual port charger installations. 2 Dual chargers in P3 parking lot and 4 Dual chargers in P5 parking lot. C. Provide and install associated conduit and cabling in bored and trenching areas. D. Provide and install the six (6) pedestal bases. E. Provide all labor to install six (6) CP 6021 charger pedestal and twelve (12) total heads. F. Provide labor for startups, programing and training. G. Provided electrical permit for this work. H. Assist the with completing and submitting the necessary paperwork to receive availlable grants or funds from Oregon Department of Transportation (ODOT), Portland General Electric (PGE), or other sources. I. Remove and disposal of the three (3) existing chargers. J. The estimated schedule to complete the project will be 6 weeks from signed contract and issuance of the Notice to Proceed. K. Contractor will provide schedule of values and detailed schedule once the contract is signed. L. Public Works General Terms and Conditions apply to this project for any change orders. M. County and succesful bidder to coordinate with ChargePoint on the software cloud service and any network connection for fees to direct revenue to county finance institution. N. Contractor to pay prevailing wages for this project. Any work outside original scope will be negotiated on time and material basis and amended prior to work beginning. O. Provide striping, asphalt patching if needed, standard EV signage to say EV Charging Only 4 Hour Limit. P. See attached pictures, drawings, and unit information
