Renovation of a swimming pool in Powell, Wyoming. Completed plans call for the renovation of a swimming pool.
Leisure Pool Resurfacing at Powell Aquatic Center The City of Powell reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informality in any bid received. All bids must be accompanied by bid security in the form of a certified check, cashier's check or bid bond, payable without conditions to the City of Powell, in the amount of five (5) percent of the amount of bid. The City of Powell reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive technicalities or informalities and to accept any bid deemed to be in the best interest of the City. This project shall start on March 23, 2026 with completion date to be submitted in the Bidsheet by Contractor. This project includes removal and disposal of liner, felt liner, termination covers and existing tiles; HydroBlast to get down to concrete; make any necessary repairs, plastering pool vessel, and tiling any areas that cannot be plastered. Project shall be done in accordance with the following specifications listed. 1. Removal and disposal of PVC liner, felt liner, termination covers and existing tile. 2. HydroBlast pool vessel to remove felt and loose, hollow or deteriorated subsurface materials in order to insure best possible mechanical bond. 3. Make any necessary repairs to pool vessel or gutters. 4. Cut and remove existing concrete at least 2" away from inlets, floor drains, and other fixtures to achieve a flush finish with the new surface. 5. Remove existing expansion joint from walls, floors, gutters, across top of island and install new. Joints should be boarder with white Daltile Keystone nonskid tile and caulking to be used is Laticrete Latasil. 6. Place contrasting color highlight tiles to demark the edges for all steps, benches and recessed ladder steps. 7. Install 2 racing lane and 4 wall targets. Racing lanes shall be 10 to 12 inches wide and shall end 6 feet 7 inches from the end wall. The last 10 to 12 inches of line shall be 3 feet 4 inches wide forming a T. Wall targets shall be 10 to 12 inches wide extending from the water line to the bottom of the pool. 12 inches from the water line shall be perpendicular line that is 10 to 12 inches tall and 3 feet 4 inches wide forming a '+'. Lane lines shall be black Daltile Keystone nonskid tiles. 8. Install 3 depth transition lines along bottom of pool out of Daltile Keyston nonskid tile. 1ft depth line shall be green, 2ft depth line shall be yellow, and 3 ft depth line shall be red. 9. Tile with white Dalitle Keystone nonskid tile: 'beach' area of zero entry, top of island, top of wall around jetted area, under handicap railing, water line, gutter, and pool area up to the concrete deck joint. 10. Overflow drains around the main pool vessel shall be primed and painted with an epoxy pool grade paint as per the specifications. Color shall be white. 11. Supply and install all SGM Diamond Brite finish or similar., 12. Install all new drain covers and fittings. 13. All labor, materials and any clean-up associated with the re-surfacing work, and a 5-year warranty. 14. A final walkthrough shall include inspection of the pool areas for debris and damage found at the job site, including concrete chipped or damaged from the dumpster placement, and loading or unloading of materials 15. The new pool surface shall be fully cured to manufacturer's specifications prior to refilling the pool. The contractor shall notify the City when the pool can be refilled up to a level necessary and chemically balanced. Chemicals and cure process is up to the owners responsibility. . Sealed bids for the resurfacing of the leisure pool for the City of Powell's Aquatic Center will be received by the City of Powell, 270 North Clark, Powell, Wyoming, 82435 until 4:00 p.m., Monday, August 25th.", "The attached Bid Specifications are submitted to solicit bids from qualified vendors for the resurfacing of the Leisure Pool for the City of Powell's Aquatic Center.", "The CONTRACTOR shall resurface, plaster and tile the leisure pool as set forth and described in the bid specifications, and in accordance with the specifications attached herto as Exhibit "A" and incorporated herein by this reference.", "We hereby submit the following bid for the resurfacing of the leisure pool for the City of Powell's Aquatic Center
