Scope of work includes selective demolition by removing portion ofexterior wall and portion ofMRI #3 wa 11 to install MRI equipment replacement, and selective removal and replacement of slab on grade for underslab infrastructure. Install new casework, new floor / base finishes within the existing MRI #3 room. Existing ceiling to remain, acoustic tiles to be removed and replaced as required. Patch all walls as required and provide fresh paint throughout the MRI room and touch-up paint as required in the Control Room and Equipment Room, The total renovation square footage is 650 sf. General Contractor to coordinate with Owner's equipment vendor on the installation of the MRI equipment replacement. Electrical power supply for the MRI equipment to be upgraded and cable routing to be performed above ceiling. There is existing mechanical, plumbing, and structural infrastructure to support the new MRI equipment installation. The estimated construction cost is $338,000 Project Location: 400 South 43rd Street, Renton, WA 98055. Bid security shall be submitted with each bid in the amount of 5 percent of the bid amount. No bids may be withdrawn for a period of 60 days after opening of bids. Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities and irregularities. Project is to reach Substantial Completion by the following date: 120 calendar days from the date of award of contract. Bidders must be properly licensed under the laws governing their respective trades and be able to obtain insurance and bonds required, for the Work. A Performance Bond, a separate Labor and Material Payment Bond, and Insurance in a form acceptable to Owner will be required of the successful Bidder.
