Renovation of a medical facility in Renton, Washington. Completed plans call for the renovation of a medical facility.
Project has been rebid Project consists of a two-phase interior alteration of approximately 12,000 sf on Level 2 in the fully-sprinklered main hospital building at UW Valley Medical Center. Scope of work includes but is not limited to interior demolition, construction of two endoscopy rooms, two ultrasound rooms, one fluoroscopy room, one x-ray room, expansion of an existing special procedures care unit, support spaces, and structural, plumbing, mechanical and electrical upgrades to accommodate the new work. Project Location: 400 South 43rd Street, Renton, WA 98055. C. Owner: UW Medicine Valley Medical Center. The estimated construction cost is $7,975,000. Bids will be received for the following Work: 1. General Contract (all trades). Bidders must be properly licensed under the laws governing their respective trades and be able to obtain insurance and bonds required for the Work. A Performance Bond, a separate Labor and Material Payment Bond, and Insurance in a form acceptable to Owner will be required of the successful Bidder. TIME OF COMPLETION A. Project is to reach Substantial Completion of all phased work by the following date: 606 calendar days from the date of award of contract. Question Deadline 01/01/2025 Written requests for clarification or interpretation of the Bidding Documents shall reach the Architect . Bidders must be properly licensed under the laws govern- ing their respective trades and be able to obtain insurance and bonds required for the Work. A Performance Bond, a separate Labor and Material Payment Bond, and Insurance in a form acceptable to Owner will be required of the successful Bidder. B. Bidder's qualifications shall be submitted with each bid, in accordance with Section 004513- Bidder's Qualifications. Doc Notes: A. Documents will be provided to prime bidders only; only complete sets of documents will be issued.
