Outdoor lighting and renovation of a road / highway in Beachwood, Ohio. Completed plans call for the renovation of a road / highway; and for outdoor lighting for a road / highway.
The project will require the following specifications and scope of work: - Light pole should be 15'-20' feet tall, galvanized metal, with a black powder coat finish with a high wind rating. - Fixture should be LED, 3K color temperature, black in color with a high wind rating. - Solar lights will be required to perform 365 days a year and be Dark Sky compliant. - All equipment installed should be backed by a minimum of a 5 to 8 - year warranty. - Installation shall be performed by a certified contractor that meets all prevailing wage requirements. - A detailed installation plan, approved by a licensed engineer, shall be provided to the city for review. - Company must acquire all permits prior to the notice to proceed. - Company will be responsible for locating all utilities in the construction area prior to installation. Installation of Solar Lights on Ranch Road and Beachwood Boulevar Questions or Inquiries Should Be Submitted in Writing to the Public Works Director, Chris Arrietta via Email at Chris.arrietta@beachwoodohio.com. Proposals to Obtain Qualified and Interested Vendors From Established Companies in the Solar Street Light Industry for the Installation of Solar Lights on Ranch Road and Beachwood Boulevard. The Company Will Be Responsible for a Comprehensive Analysis and Design of the Area to Ensure Adequate Lighting Requirements Are Achieved. The Company Will Supply and Install Fully Operational Solar Streetlights Based on the Results of the Study. The Installation of These Lights Will Be Considered a Pilot Program. If Successful, It Will Lead to the Phased Implementation of 900 to 1,000 Solar Lights Throughout the Entire Community Over a Five-year Period. The deadline is for questions is November 20
