2025 Street Striping Program Each bid must include: The full name(s) of all parties submitting the bid. A fully executed Non-Collusion Affidavit. For corporations not chartered in Ohio, a certificate authorizing the corporation to do business in Ohio (Articles of Incorporation, listing principals). A certified or cashier's check from a solvent bank payable to the City of Beachwood, or a bid bond equal to 10% of the total bid amount, drawn in favor of the Clerk of Council. Proof of General Liability Insurance from a company licensed in Ohio, with a policy amount of $1,000,000.00 to cover bodily harm or property damage caused by the contractor. The City of Beachwood must be listed as an additional insured on the policy. Proof of Workers' Compensation coverage. The bid check or bond serves as a guarantee that, if awarded the contract, the bidder will enter into an agreement with the City of Beachwood. Failure to do so will result in forfeiture of the bid amount as liquidated damages. A Performance Bond for the full contract amount must be provided before contract execution. If the bidder is a Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) or Women's Business Enterprise (WBE), a Certification Letter should be included with the bid documents. Questions must also be submitted in writing via email to the Clerk of Council.
