**As of February 4 , 2025, project was awarded to Ashford Gardeners, awarded amount is $110,613.50. Holly Springs Town Center Landscape Installation of landscaping in the Holly Springs Town Center pursuant to plans dated October 25, 2024, prepared by Foresite Group. All plant material shall be installed pursuant to the City of Holly Springs Tree Ordinance (ORD-19-2017) as attached in Exhibit A. Root barriers are required for trees planted along public sidewalks or curbing as shown in STD. L-8 of the City of Holly Springs Landscape Standards Index. The time allowed for Substantial Completion is 90 consecutive days from the date specified in the Notice to Proceed. Nonrefundable liquidated damages in the amount of $500 per calendar day will be deducted from monies due the Contractor in the event that a portion of the work remains incomplete beyond the agreed upon contract completion date. The official Notice to Proceed is anticipated to be given to the chosen contractor on January 15, 2025. Each Bid must be accompanied by a Bid Bond with good and sufficient surety or sureties approved by the owner for faithful acceptance of the contract, payable to, in favor of, and for the protection of the OWNER in an amount equivalent to five percent (5%) of the total amount payable by the terms of the contract or, in lieu thereof, in the form of a certified check, cashier's check, or cash in equal amount. The Successful Bidder will be required to furnish a performance bond for 100% of the contract amount and a payment bond for 100% of the contract amount, with the executed Agreement meeting the requirements of the Contract Documents and executed on the forms attached to the Agreement. The terms and time for payment are set forth in the Agreement. All Bids will remain subject to acceptance for 30 days after the day of the Bid opening, but OWNER may, in its sole discretion, release any Bid and return the Bid security prior to that date. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, to waive formalities and re-advertise.
