Renovation of a mixed-use development in Fairfax, Virginia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a fire / police facility; and municipal facility.
The purpose of this Quick Quote (QQ) solicitation is to solicit bids from a qualified roofing contractor to provide roofing repairs at 3410 Pickett Road, Fairfax, VA 22031 and 3730 Blenheim Boulevard, Fairfax, VA 22030. 2. SCOPE OF WORK: o 3410 Pickett Road, Fairfax, VA 22031 o The Contractor shall furnish all labor, supervision, equipment, tools, parts, and materials as necessary to complete the project. o Appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) shall be used on the job site. o The Contractor shall be responsible for hauling away all items such as, but not limited to debris, leaves, materials and equipment. o The Contractor shall reseal and recoat a roof that is approximately 13,800 square feet. o Thoroughly wash the existing roof surfaces and membrane flashings. o The entire roof shall be cleaned from, but not limited to debris, leaves, and standing water. o The contractor shall make the necessary repairs to the existing roof. o The contractor shall patch all open seams and replace all patching material as needed. o Sealant shall be applied to all curbs, flashing, drains, and penetrations per the manufacturer's specifications. o Coat entire roof with high adhesion coating 100 % silicone sealant per the manufacturer's specifications. o UV and weather resistant o 3730 Blenheim Boulevard, Fairfax, VA 22030 o The Contractor shall furnish all labor, supervision, equipment, tools, parts, and materials as necessary to complete the project. o Appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) shall be used on the job site. o The Contractor shall be responsible for hauling away all items such as, but not limited to debris, leaves, materials and equipment. o The Contractor shall reseal and recoat a roof that is approximately 15,300 square feet. o Thoroughly wash the existing roof surfaces and membrane flashings. o The entire roof shall be cleaned from, but not limited to debris, leaves, and standing water. o The contractor shall make the necessary repairs to the existing roof. o The contractor shall patch all open seams and replace all patching material as needed. o Sealant shall be applied to all curbs, flashing, drains, and penetrations per the manufacturer's specifications. o Coat entire roof with high adhesion coating 100 % silicone sealant per the manufacturer's specifications. o UV and weather resistant 3. AWARD: The City will make an award to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids, in whole or in part, to waive informalities and to delete items prior to making the award, whenever it is deemed in the sole opinion of the City to be in its best interest.
