In order to be deemed responsive and eligible for award of the Agreement, the bidder must attain the prescribed goals. CDCR is committed to meeting and exceeding the three percent (3%) goal for Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise (DVBE) participation in State contracting activities, set forth in Military and Veterans Code 999. The DVBE Incentive Program applies to all contracting activities for services. The DVBE incentive is applied during the evaluation process and is only applied to responsive bids from responsible bidders proposing DVBE participation. This incentive is for bid computation only. Current law requires state departments to support the success of small businesses, including microbusinesses, in participation in contracting opportunities. CDCR is committed to supporting Small/Micro Business participation in state contracting and seeks to contract with certified Small/Micro Businesses whenever possible. The State reserves the right to terminate this Agreement subject to thirty (30) calendar days written notice to the Contractor. Contractor may submit a written request to terminate this Agreement only if the State should substantially fail to perform its responsibilities as provided herein.
