Renovation of an educational facility in Sacramento, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 1,440-square-foot, one-story above grade educational facility.
The Contractor shall perform within the time stipulated the contract as herein defined, and shall provide all labor, materials, tools, utility services, and transportation to complete in a workmanlike manner all of the work required in connection with the following titled Project Northwood Elementary School UTK Portable Conversion Project in strict compliance with the Contract Documents as specified in Article 4 below, which shall be free from any and all liens and claims from mechanics, material suppliers, subcontractors, artisans, machinists, teamsters, freight carriers, and laborers required for the Project. Northwood Elementary School UTK Portable Conversion Project Question Deadline 11/18/2024 Deadline for Application submission to online. Notice to Proceed December 20th, 2024 Start Date: Construction January 6th, 2024 Substantial Completion April 9th, 2024 Contract Completion (Closeout) May 21st, 2024 The engineer's estimate for this project is $450,000. Classification * A (General Engineering Contractor) Classification * B (General Building Contractor) Each bid must conform and be responsive to this notice and all other documents comprising the contract documents. All forms must be completed, signed, and returned with the bid. No bidder may withdraw its bid for a period of sixty (60) calendar days after the date set for the receipt of bids. The successful bidder shall file a payment bond issued by an admitted Surety authorized to conduct business in the State of California approved by the District. A performance bond will also be required. The successful bidder and all subcontractor(s) shall comply with all applicable Labor Code provisions, which include, but are not limited to, the payment of not less than the required prevailing rates to all workers employed by them in the execution Each Bidder submitting a bid must be a Department of Industrial Relations registered contractor pursuant to Labor Code section 1725.5 ("DIR Registered Contractor") unless an exception expressly provided in the Labor Code applies. This project is subject to compliance monitoring and enforcement by the DIR. If awarded the Contract, at all times during performance of the work, the Bidder and all Subcontractors of any tier shall be DIR Registered Contractors and continue to comply with all DIR requirements. This Contract is subject to prequalification pursuant to Public Contract Code section 20111.6. Disabled Veteran Contractors are encouraged to submit bids. This bid is subject to Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise requirements. Each bidder shall be a licensed contractor pursuant to the Business and Professions Code and shall be licensed in the following classifications: Class A or Class B. No bid will be accepted from a contractor who has not been licensed in accordance with the California Business and Profession Code at the time the bid is submitted. The District reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to accept or reject any one or more items of a bid, or to waive any irregularities or informalities in the bid or in the bidding process.
