Renovation of an educational facility in Sacramento, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

The Scope of Work for the Project includes, but is not limited to, production, delivery, and placement of all new furniture for the Ethel Phillips Furniture Project. The furniture is to be delivered to the following location: Ethel Phillips Elementary School, 2930 21st Ave, Sacramento, CA 95820 ("Site"). Delivery locations may not have loading docks. Vendor is required to make all necessary arrangements for lift trucks or other means necessary to complete delivery. Inside delivery to secured facilities may be required. Vendor acknowledges that the Work will be performed on a "tobacco-free" campus, and that possession of any tobacco product or e-cigarettes is prohibited on the District's property. Scope of Work Included: 1. Furnish and install all labor, material and equipment for all Work shown and/or specified in accordance with the Contract Documents. 2. This Scope of Work Section 1.03 also applies to all applicable awarded substitutions. 3. Information provided under "Also Included" points out some items which may be considered less obvious or "unconventional", but which are included in the Scope of Work. 4. This Bid Package Description is intended to clarify scope to the Vendor but is in no way intended to limit scope that is reasonable inferable as being required by the Work included in this description. Work required under a Bid Package may be shown or specified anywhere in the Contract Documents. Also Included: 1. Vendor through coordination with Construction Manager, will be required to coordinate delivery and installation of furniture while construction may still be on-going. 2. Vendor may be required to do a phased install as a means to coordinate with construction. 3. Daily and final clean-up. 4. Vendor is responsible for the protection of books, shelving, furniture and electronic equipment during Work. Protection to include, but not limited to; corner guards and floor protection in working areas. 5. Any Patching, repairing, painting and/or replacement of finished surfaces damaged during installation will be repaired by the Ethel Phillips Elementary Campus Renewal, General Contractor and the cost for said repairs will be deducted from the Vendor's final invoice. 6. A full-time Lead Installer shall be on site at all times Vendor installation is occurring. 7. Any storage costs the Vendor incurs in order to facilitate the installation timeframe called for in Attachment D, Special Provisions, Section 05 - Schedule Included: 1.
