The purpose of this bid, and the requirement contract awarded following an evaluation of the bids received, is to provide sodium bisulfite solution for the purpose of dechlorinating the wastewater effluent flows at the Easterly Wastewater Treatment Plant, Southerly Wastewater Treatment Center and Westerly Wastewater Treatment Center (WWTPs), of the Northeast Ohio Regional Sewer District (NEORSD). This contract is for a twelve (12) month period or until funds appropriated to this contract are exhausted. The total quantity to be furnished under the terms of this contract is estimated to be approximately 2,500,000 wet pounds (approximately 230,000 gallons) of sodium bisulfite (NaHSO3) solution in the form of an aqueous solution as specified. Question Deadline 11/21/2024 at 2:00 PM ET : All questions regarding any irregularities and/or requests for information related to these bid documents shall be submitted online Such inquiries will be answered as soon as is practicable. Any substantive information provided by NEORSD in response to such questions will be distributed as an addendum to the bid documents.
