Site work for a water / sewer project in Huntsville, Alabama. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The scope of work includes the rehabilitation of a water tank (Redstone 1) with an additive alternate of an exterior overcoat. The contractor shall furnish all supervision, labor, materials, supplies, tools, equipment and transportation necessary to perform the Water Tank Rehabilitation called for under this contract in a timely, safe, and professional manner. The estimated date for the Notice to Proceed to be issued is February 3, 2025. The project must be complete within 60 days from the Notice to Proceed date with 30 days added for the additive alternate (if applicable). There is no pre-bid meeting scheduled for this project. Question Deadline 12/11/2024. Please address any questions in writing to jim.lawson@hsvutil.org A cashier's check or a bid bond payable to the City of Huntsville, Alabama, d/b/a/ Huntsville Utilities for an amount not less than 5% of the contractor's bid, but in no event more than $10,000.00, will be required to accompany each contractor's bid. A performance bond, a payment bond, a maintenance bond and insurance will be required prior to execution of the contract. The Contractor shall submit in the bid package, the requested information included on the form, "Unauthorized Aliens Affidavit" as shown in the specifications. "Equal Opportunity in Employment: All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, or handicap. Bidders on this work will be required to comply with the President's Executive Order No. 112-46, as amended." No bid may be withdrawn after the scheduled closing time for the receipt of bids for a period of ninety (90) days. The right to reject any and all bids is reserved.
