Reference Number : 0000368375 The Alabama Space Science Exhibit Commission DBA U.S. Space & Rocket Center seeks qualified firms to submit a Public Sealed Bid for the replacement of the flooring in our Maker Space classroom area. Scope of Work Qualified firms shall provide all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to perform the following tasks. Demo approximately 3867 square feet of existing VCT Installation of approximately 3203 sq ft of LVT Interface: Scorpio 4.5mm (final color to be determined) Refinish approximately 665 sq feet of polished concrete that was previously covered with VCT Strip and Rewax approximately 600 sq feet of existing polished to blend with newly uncovered concrete Maintain all dust control measures while polishing concrete as this is an area open to the public. Install new 4" black cove base in all impacted areas There will be other contractors working at the site as well. The USSRC project manager will help to facilitate coordination of the site with all contractors. Portions of the work will be conducted in areas where there is high museum visitor traffic.
