Reference Number 0000368378 Qualified firms shall provide all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to relocate the temporary storefront walls and add additional temporary walls. This area will function as a Maker Space Lab and Birthday Party Room for patrons of the Museum. -Relocate and reconfigure existing storefront to make new straight-line front for the updated spaces Will include relocating the 2 sets of double doors in storefront to provide entry into each of the two rooms. Locations will be designated on the renderings provided to potential bidders Blue highlight below in floor plan Frame, drywall, and paint a bulkhead from the top of the storefront to the ceiling. Support the bulkhead as needed in the storefront Frame, Drywall, and Paint approximately 30' of new temporary wall as shown in renderings Yellow highlight below in floor plan Remove any remaining slat board as needed Add new drywall, make framing adjustments as needed, and paint all areas where slat board walls have been removed Special Care should be made to ensure adequate framing around areas with previously opened up concrete walls. Structural assessment calls for no required concrete work but clean framing is needed around these areas Paint all existing walls that have not been covered so far All paint shall be an Eggshell finish with final colors to be provided by the owner. Owner will have additional work occurring in the area which will be coordinated with the selected contractor by the USSRC project manager Flooring will be a separate contract Electrical outlet relocation will be done by USSRC facilities staff HVAC updates will be done by USSRC facilities staff Cabinet and furniture install will be done by the USSRC facilities staff Portions of the work will be conducted in areas where there is high museum visitor traffic. All safety considerations should be followed for working in job site in proximity to general public. The optimal time period for the proposed work should have the project completed before Feb 1,2025. Work can begin immediately following the contract award. Work hours should be standard workday unless coordinated with USSRC in advance.
