Alterations and repairs to the existing gazebo on Duck Island, a historic site, consistent with the secretary of the interior's standards. The project includes but is not limited to selective demolition, hazardous materials abatement, copper roof replacement, repairs to the gazebo structure, historic flagstone and mortar, wood trim, wood soffits, and ramp handrails, new pre-cast drainage basins and dry wells, new light fixtures including a new light pole, new electrical load center and underground electrical service. The project will be constructed under coordinated, concurrent multiple contracts including General and Electrical Construction Contract Work. Question Deadline 11/25/2024 RFIs will be accepted. Each bidder must include with his bid, a certified check or bid bond, payable to the order of the City of Niagara Falls, in the amount of not less than FIVE (5) PERCENT of the price bid, subject to the conditions in the Instructions to Bidders. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a performance bond and labor and material payment bond, in form and substance, and with sureties approved by the City Corporation Counsel, in the amount of not less than ONE HUNDRED (100) PERCENTUM of the total amount of the accepted proposal.
