Renovation of a municipal facility in Niagara Falls, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
As of January 13, 2025, the project was awarded to Cameo General Construction - $2,008,665.00 Greater Niagara Mechanical, Inc - $877,560.00 CIR Electric (Electrical Contract) - $600,600.00 J.R. Swanson (Plumbing Contract) - $692,400.00, with the total awarded amount of $4,179,225. Modify existing structure to accommodate future use for municipal animal shelter. Each bidder must include with his bid, a certified check or bid bond, payable to the order of the City of Niagara Falls, in the amount of not less than FIVE (5) PERCENT of the price bid, subject to the conditions in the Instructions to Bidders. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a performance bond and labor and material payment bond, in form and substance, and with sureties approved by the City Corporation Counsel, in the amount of not less than ONE HUNDRED (100) PERCENTUM of the total amount of the accepted proposal. The City Administrator reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive all informalities. Bid Result.
