Site work for a swimming pool in South Windsor, Connecticut. Completed plans call for site work for a swimming pool.
The Town of South Windsor is seeking sealed proposals for the services of a contractor repair the pool floor of our Zero Entry Kids pool at Veteran's Memorial Park Pool with Pebble Tech surfacing. The contractor will: A. Prep the zero-entry pool for refinishing. Chip plaster around returns etc. Remove any existing hollow spots. B. Caulk under stainless gutter and zero-entry. C. Apply scratch coat to surface to help facilitate proper bonding to the finish. D. Apply Pebble-tech surfacing to the entire 8,000 square feet of pool floor. E. Remove all debris from the area upon completion. Bid Security is not required for this project. Performance bond is not required for this project. Liquidated damages shall be one hundred ($100) dollars per calendar day. The time of completion shall be one hundred eighty (180) days from the issuance of a Notice to Proceed unless lead times on certain items are shown and written notice by the Engineer provided. All work will be completed no later than April 30, 2025. The Town reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be directed to the South Windsor Parks & Recreation.
