Reference Number 0000282066 The purpose of this Request for Pre-Qualification (RFPQ) is to qualify Contractors with General Contracting, Underground Works, Surface Works and Earthworks construction experience, as outlined in the City of Steinbach Standard Construction and Specifications Manual, to compete for the City’s Infrastructure Contracts. Based on the review of the RFPQ Responses the City intends to expand the List of Pre-Qualified Contractors who, on an “as, if and when requested” basis, may be contacted directly, or asked to compete, to enter into a Contract. Contractors who have been pre-qualified in previous years are not required to reapply, unless they wish to expand their approval to include a Service Area that they were not previously approved for. Pre-qualified contractors should provide updated contact information if any changes have occurred since they have qualified. The City has the following types of projects currently scheduled for the 2025 construction year: Installation of 3kms of forcemain, currently considering installation by drilling. Construction of concrete sidewalks Sewer reconstruction with replacement of existing road surface Construction of a new sewer, water and concrete road to service new industrial lots There is no guarantee all these types of projects will be tendered for 2025 construction and no guarantee is given that this is a complete list of project scopes.
