Work includes the removal of trees, on-site excavation, borrow for embankment, granular roadway surfacing, segmental retaining wall, erosion control, and seeding for the future 9-mile water transmission main and water booster station project. The project includes the following approximate quantities of work: 8.20 acres clearing, 1,740 cubic yards (CY) on-site excavation, 3,115 CY borrow for embankment, 726 tons granular roadway surfacing, 170 square feet segmental retaining wall, and 12 acres of seeding. The Work will be substantially complete on or before April 1, 2025 and will be completed and ready for final payment in accordance with Paragraph 15.06 of the General Conditions on or before June 2, 2025 The Contractors bid bond, certified check, or cashiers check shall be in an amount of 5% of the Contractors bid amount made payable to the Treasurer of the City of Plattsmouth, Nebraska. Docs Notes : Prospective Bidders may examine the Bidding Documents at the Issuing Office on Mondays through Fridays between the hours of 8 a.m. to noon and 1 p.m. to 5 p.m., and may obtain copies of the Bidding Documents from the Issuing Office as described below. Bidding Documents also may be examined at Lincoln Builders Bureau, Master Builders of Iowa, Omaha Builders Exchange; the office of the City of Plattsmouth, Nebraska 136 North 5th Street, Plattsmouth, Nebraska, on Mondays through Fridays between the hours of 8 a.m. to noon and 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Prospective bidders may download the digital documents for a charge of $60 through Bidding Documents may be obtained from the Issuing Office during the hours indicated above either via in-person pick-up or via mail, upon Issuing Offices receipt of payment for the Bidding Documents. The nonrefundable cost of printed Bidding Documents is $250 per set, payable to Strand Associates, Inc.@, plus a non-refundable shipping charge The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive irregularities and informalities therein and to award the Contract in the best interest of the Owner.
