Renovation of a fitness / recreation center in Pacolet, South Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a fitness / recreation center.

o Demo and remove existing gym flooring located inside the T.W. Edwards Rec Center. o Install new gym floor approximately 59' x 100' and/or 5,900 SF. o New Floor to be Gerflor recreation 60 sheet flooring or approved equal. Colors are specified on Exhibit Q. o Install one (1) basketball (43' x 74') and two (2) pickleball (20' x 44') court lines on new flooring. o Follow manufacture specification for installation. Clean floor prior to installation. Concrete prep wall base and add reducers at all doorways. o See Exhibit Q for T.W. Edwards Rec Center Gym Flooring Plan. Approximate award date 12/24/2024 05:00 PM (UTC-05:00) Eastern Time (US & Canada) All proposals are to provide the number of calendar days the contractor commits to complete the project. This will be entered on the Proposal. Contract time (calendar days to complete project) is to ideally be 60 calendar days for this project. The contract time will start on the purchase order issue date. Bid Bond: Proposer shall submit with their proposal a bid bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the proposal price. This bond may be in the form of Certified Check, Cashier's Check or Bank Money Order of any national or state bank and shall be made payable to Spartanburg County. Proposals submitted without being accompanied by any of the foregoing, as required, shall be considered non-responsive and will be rejected. The successful proposer, within three (3) working days after acceptance of the proposer's offer by the County, shall furnish a satisfactory performance and payment bond in the amount of the total proposal price. The performance and payment bond must be received by the county prior to the issuance of the executed contract and Notice to Proceed.
