The Construction Manager, Holland Construction Services, on behalf of Edwardsville CUSD #7 will receive sealed bids for Edwardsville CUSD #7 Secure Entries. Sealed bids shall be submitted to Edwardsville CUSD #7 at the Mannie Jackson Center - District 7 Center for Learning, 1210 N Main St, Edwardsville, IL 62025, Attention: Dr. Patrick Shelton until 2:00 PM (Central Standard Time), December 5th, 2024, and at such time opened and read aloud for Edwardsville CUSD #7. The bid opening will be held at the Mannie Jackson Center - District 7 Center for Learning, 1210 N Main St, Edwardsville, IL 62025. Bids will be opened publicly and read aloud starting at approximately 2:00 pm central time, December 5th, 2024. No immediate decision shall be rendered concerning the bids submitted. After the bids have been tabulated and evaluated, they will be presented to Edwardsville CUSD #7 for approval. All bids shall be submitted in a sealed envelope and clearly marked as “EDWARDSVILLE CUSD #7 SECURE ENTRIES” with appropriate bid package number, name of Bidder, and date and time of Bid Opening. Bids received after stated time will not be accepted and will be returned unopened. Faxed bids will not be accepted. Bid Packages Will Include: 1. Bid Package No. 03 – Concrete – Civil Demolition, Foundations, Flatwork, & Site Concrete 2. Bid Package No. 06 – General Trades (Selective Demolition, Metal Studs & Drywall, Finish Carpentry, Interior Finishes, etc) 3. Bid Package No. 08 – Aluminum Storefronts, Glass, & glazing 4. Bid Package No. 22 – Plumbing 5. Bid Package No. 23 – Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning 6. Bid Package No. 26 – Electrical, Low Voltage Telecom, PA, Access Control, Security System, & Fire Alarm Work involves select site demolition, select building demolition, sitework activities and the renovation & construction of new secure entries at the following school locations: Hamel Elementary, Glen Carbon Elementary, LeClaire Elementary, Columbus Elementary, Woodland Elementary, N.O. Nelson Elementary, & Edwardsville High School. A Bid Bond or Certified Check made payable to Edwardsville CUSD #7, in the amount of 5% of the Base Bid shall accompany the Bid as a guarantee that the bidder, if awarded the contract, will execute the contract, and proceed with the work. Should a bidder find discrepancies, ambiguities, and/or omissions for the Contract Documents, or be in doubt of their meaning, bidder shall at once, and in any event no later than November 25h, 2024 at 12:00 pm central time, notify the Owner/CM by completing the Request for Clarification form who will include a written response to all bidders via addendum.
