Reference Number 0000282370 Question Acceptance Deadline 2024/12/05 12:00:00 PM CST This request for quotes will establish unit prices for the supply and delivery of aggregate materials at various delivery locations. Estimated quantities for each material required at each location are shown in Table 1: Estimated Material Quantities and Distribution on Page 3 of this RFQ. The delivery deadline date for each material at each delivery location is on or before March 15, 2025. Please submit unit bid prices for each material identified in Table 1. For taxation purposes, separate unit bid prices are required for haul and for aggregate production. Unit bid prices shall not include any taxes. The quantities may vary and some material you may not have in stock. If the material is not on hand for use and cannot be produced prior to the delivery deadline, do not enter a unit price. Please enter a unit price only for materials that you are capable of producing. Bidders will be awarded Purchase Orders (PO) for individual materials on the basis of lowest overall cost (including haul and applicable taxes) for each delivery location. The PO number must appear on all invoices, which are presented for payment. Unit bid prices are expressed per tonne of material. Where material cannot be weighed, it will be measured by the cubic meter using survey measurement completed by the Department and the unit prices will be converted using the conversion factors shown in Table 1. The PO will be awarded and paid for on the basis of the converted bid price where the material cannot be weighed. Winter Sand (Screened) EPP The aggregate for Winter Sand shall be in accordance with the Specifications for Aggregate for Wintersand, the gradation shall be as follows: Passing 9.5 mm sieve 100% Passing 4.75 mm sieve 80-95% Passing Passing 2 mm sieve 50-75% Passing 425 um sieve 0-30% 75 um sieve 0-10% Stockpiling Aggregate for Bituminous Pavement Class "A" EPP Notwithstanding Specification 920.3.2 the gradation shall be modified as follows: Passing 16.0mm sieve 100% Passing 9.5mm sieve 70-95% Passing 4.75mm sieve 55-70% Passing 2mm sieve 35-55% Passing 425 um sieve 20-32% Passing Passing 180 um sieve 4-12% 75 um sieve 2-6% The Contractor shall clear the site of all debris, vegetation, rocks, snow and other objectionable material prior to placing any aggregate on the stockpile site. Stockpiling shall be performed using a loader, or another suitable approved equipment. Stockpiles are to be shaped and completed with a uniform height, and squared sides and edges to ensure accurate survey measurement. Stockpile preparation and shaping shall be included in the Unit Bid Price for Aggregate including all work necessary or incidental thereto. Attached hereto: Diagram of Location: Manitoba Infrastructure Map Completion Date and Liquidated Damages Work shall be completed free of liquidated damages on or before March 15, 2025. Liquidated damages, after this specified time limit, will be charged at the rate of FIVE HUNDRED ($500.00) dollars per calendar day until the work is completed.
